What is Eligard?
Eligard (leuprolide acetate) is a manufactured hormone used in the treatment of hormone-responsive cancers, specifically prostate and breast cancer. It is also used to treat other hormone-responsive conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroid tumors, and early puberty in both girls and boys.
